# Are your pyramid sachet tea bags compostable?

Art of Tea pyramid sachet tea bags are biodegradable. They are made of Soilon, a corn fiber. No plastic or metal is used at all. They are also ultrasonically sealed, using no glue. They can be \*commercially composted with green/food waste. 

\*Commercial composting facilities use higher temperatures than backyard compost piles and are capable of handling the renewable PLA used in our tea sachets. Please look into commercial composting facilities in your area.
